Safe Family Travel Campaign Starts Next Week

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — As holiday travel ramps up, Indiana State Police are cracking down on unsafe driving as part of the Safe Family Travel campaign.

Authorities stress that impaired driving and failure to wear a seat belt remain major causes of fatal crashes.

The Indiana Criminal Justice Institute urged drivers to “buckle up, slow down, and never drive impaired” to ensure safer roads.

The campaign runs from November 26th through the end of December.
