FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): For the eighth consecutive year, the dentists at Lima Road Dentistry are buying your unwanted Halloween candy.
At a dollar a pound, with a $10.00 maximum, Doctors Angie King and Hal Atkinson will purchase your Halloween treats. They view the buyback as a way to nudge kids away from obesity, diabetes and tooth decay. The candy will then be shipped to our troops in the Middle East.
Children can bring the candy to Lima Road Dentistry in the Empire Center at 9019 Lima Road. Times for the candy buyback are as follows:
Monday November 3rd 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday November 4th 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday November 5th 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
