Did the families involved give Senator Banks permission to talk about the dignified transfer? News broke tonight that the families requested no photos be shared from the event. Why is the senator trying to promote himself, and why are you playing along?
We are not “playing along” nor is Senator Banks promoting himself. The news of the dignified transfer was announced through a news release and has been covered by multiple news agencies, both national and local across the country, as well as in Indiana and Ohio regionally as the airmen killed were from these two states, among others. WOWO has shared absolutely no photographs of the event itself, and we would honor all requests of the family first regarding any photo media, as is our Newsroom Policy on all such requests. If you feel that Senator Banks is “promoting himself”, please feel free to contact his office for clarification. WOWO News is not authorized to speak directly for Senator Banks.
