Something I haven’t heard asked is, If I file for unemployment how will this effect my employer who is a small business owner who wants to use the loan/grant for paying our wages. If I file, will I be excluded? Will that cause him to not get the loan? The loan is for retaining employees, I don’t want to leave my job, but I have to say I will accept employment if offered when filling out unemployment paperwork. They seem to work against each other.
