FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Students at St. Jude Catholic School in Fort Wayne will get a few more days of summer vacation.

According to a letter posted on the school’s website, officials are still cleaning up after a water main break made a mess and caused some damage to classrooms. Classes were supposed to start this week, but now will begin on Monday, August 15th.

Principal Mike Obergfell says the delay will give the school the time it needs to make sure everything is ready for students, and he apologized for the delay.
