State Jobs Report Released

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): The latest Indiana jobs report is says Hoosier employment is at record levels.

The Department of Workforce Development reports unemployment is at 5.1 percent.. Officials say that accounts for more than 119 thousand new private sector jobs since January 2013.  

But, Indiana Democrats aren't buying it. State Chairman John Zody says says things aren't so rosy for most Hoosiers.  

He says there's a growing wage gap compared to the rest of the nation and economic growth is sluggish.  

Zody says Indiana needs leaders who will fight for high wages and equal pay for everyone.
