Attempted Murder Charges Filed in Bluffton Stabbing

BLUFFTON, Ind. (WOWO): Attempted murder charges have been filed following the stabbing of an elderly woman in Bluffton this week.

The Wells County Prosecutor's Office announced Friday that they have charged Nestor Hernandez-Rodriguez.

On Wednesday, a 76 year old woman called 911 and said she was stabbed. She was found bleeding from her neck and arms and was able to identify Hernandez-Rodriguez.

Police say he was found near the apartment complex where the stabbing occurred with self-inflicted cuts to the throat. He's been recovering in the hospital since then.
