Steuben County police are on the hunt for an uncooperative registered sex offender. Today, an arrest warrant was issued for 48-year-old Cecil Marten. He’s being charged with one count of class D felony for failing to register as a sex or violent offender.

Marten allegedly didn’t appear for a yearly photo and registry update required by Indiana law. Now, his whereabouts are unknown.

He is being described as a white male, standing 5’6” tall and weighing around 130 lbs.  He has brown hair, brown eyes, and wears glasses.  Marten was last known to have a beard.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Marten is asked to call Steuben County police.
