Summer Food Service Program Opens in Fort Wayne and New Haven

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Free meals will be available for children and the mentally disabled in Fort Wayne and New Haven on Tuesday

Tuesday is the start of the Community Harvest Food Bank's Summer Food Service Program in Fort Wayne and New Haven. Free meals are available to children 18 or younger and anyone over 18 that is enrolled in a state-approved education program for the mentally or physically disabled. 

In Fort Wayne, you can get a free meal at the Euell Wilson Community Center at 1512 Oxford Street. In New Haven, you can get a free meal at the New Haven Farmer's Market at Schnelker Park or near Meadowbrook Elementary School at 1177 Woodmere Drive. The program runs through August 10th at those locations.

The Summer Food Service Program started at 105 South State Street in South Whitley on May 27th. That runs through August 19th.
