Suspect in Fatal Eby Avenue Shooting, Sentenced

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The suspect who took part in a fatal September shooting, has been sentenced for assisting a criminal.


According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, 25-year-old Marcus Lindsey was in court Friday morning. He was sentenced to four years in prison for his role in the shooting death of John Holman.


Shots were fired on the evening of September 8th, 2014. Lindsey helped 24-year-old Charles Benson gun down Holman in a barrage of gunfire on Eby Street.


Benson has been charged with murder and illegal possession of a gun. Benson's trial is set for May 5th.
