FORT WAYNE (WOWO): Head Coach Al Sims has retired. The annoucement caps a 38 year career in hockey, including as an NHL player and coach. Sims has coached the K’s for parts of 10 seasons during that time he coached the team to two regular season titles and five league championships and claimed coach of the year honors twice.
