The Martin Luther King Jr. Bridge is Going Gold

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): This weekend, September 5th, 6th, and 7th, the Martin Luther King Jr. Bridge will be going gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Several major cities across the county are getting involved to remember the young lives that were taken to soon and to honor the cancer fighters and survivors. Here in the Summit City, the MLK bridge will glow gold, signifying Mayor Tom Henry's proclamation declaring September 2014 as Childhood Cancer Awareness month in Fort Wayne.
