FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — The school district issued a press release on Tuesday morning addressing the incident.

NACS administrators were made aware of the threat late Monday night and promptly launched an investigation in partnership with district resource officers and the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.

This investigation resulted in the student’s apprehension.

NACS has confirmed no immediate danger at Maple Creek Middle School.
