Thousands expected for 2016 Fort 4 Fitness

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Today is the 9th annual Fort 4 Fitness fall festival in downtown Fort Wayne.

Jim Shovlin, Director of Sales and Promotions for Fort 4 Fitness, tells WOWO News downtown Fort Wayne has 10K runners from all over the US to vie for a national championship, in addition to participants in a four-mile run, half marathon and full marathon.

Organizers are saying close to 10,000 participants and up to 25,000 spectators should show up this year.

Calhoun Street is closed from about Williams to Tillman during the event, while several others will be affected, with officers directing traffic.
