Three dead, two in critical condition in Thanksgiving night shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Three people were killed in a Thanksgiving night shooting in Fort Wayne.

Fort Wayne police were called to the 6100 block of Downington Drive, a residential area off of Hanna Street, around 10:25 p.m. in reference to a shooting.

Officers found five victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds; four people were inside the home, one was outside.

Two men and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other men were transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Detectives are currently interviewing witnesses for further details and the shooting is still under investigation. There is no suspect information at this time.

The victims’ identities will be released at a later time.
