Three injured in LaGrange County crash

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Three people were hurt, one seriously, in a Memorial Day Weekend crash in LaGrange County.

The County Sheriff’s Department tells WOWO news the crash happened Sunday on State Road 3 at US 20, east of Plato, when 23-year-old Kyle McCann disregarded a stop sign and drove his pickup truck into the path of both a Jaguar sedan and a semi truck. Both vehicles hit his at the same time.

The drivers of those two vehicles were treated and released at a nearby hospital, but McCann was airlifted to Parkview Regional hospital with multiple injuries, including a lacerated spleen.

He was also cited for running a stop sign.
