FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The first couple of days of the 48th annual Three Rivers Festival are over, and so far, so good.

Executive Director Jack Hammer tells WOWO news he’s pleased with turnout, especially with Saturday’s parade.

“Yeah, we were blessed by great weather all weekend long,” Hammer said. “Saturday, all of Fort Wayne and the surrounding area came out for the parade, and the parade was wonderful.”

The annual event continues tonight with helicopter rides, pet photoshoots and the annual waiter-waitress contest, with local restaurants competing in a unique obstacle course.
