Traffic Stop Yields 14 Pounds of Marijuana

 

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A traffic stop in Allen County yields14 pounds of marijuana.

On March 6th an Allen County Police Officer and his K-9 partner were patrolling the area of Paulding Road and Wayne Trace.  While utilizing his radar the officer clocked a car going 46 MPH in a 30 MPH zone.  The officer initiated a traffic stop and once he approached the driver, Tommy McDuffie III, the officer smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. 

 

The officer’s K-9 then gave a signal for the presences of narcotics. A search of the vehicle led to 14 pounds of marijuana being found in the trunk. 

 

The Ohio man is now facing a dealing marijuana charge, a class C Felony.
