Two Arrested in Connection With Avilla Church Break-in

Police in Avilla stopped a pair of would-be church burglars in their tracks early Sunday morning.  The Journal Gazette says that at around 12:30 Sunday morning, the Town Marshall got a call about two suspicious men.  When the Marshall responded, he noticed a window on the side of the Arc Church had been broken.  After a short foot chase, 22-year-old Brenden Harris of LaGrange, was booked into the Noble County Jail where he was being held without bail.  An unidentified 15-year-old suspect was taken to the Allen County Juvenile Center.
