FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Two people were badly hurt after a vehicle hit a scooter in Fort Wayne last night.

Spokesman Michael Joyner tells WOWO news a scooter headed southbound on Wells Street when an SUV-style vehicle turned into its path a couple of blocks south of Spy Run Creek. 

The driver of the scooter and his female passenger were both taken to a Fort Wayne hospital; he's in critical condition, she's in serious condition. No word on any charges, but Joyner adds that alcohol was not involved.
