Two Indiana Tickets Just Missed Giant Powerball

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Hoosier Lottery officials say Indiana retailers sold two tickets that just missed on winning a share of the giant Powerball jackpot.

While the two winning tickets for the estimated $587.5 million jackpot were sold in Arizona and Missouri, two tickets sold in Indiana are worth $1 million each.

Lottery officials say those tickets were sold at convenience stores in Vincennes and Highland. Those tickets matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball number.

The numbers drawn Wednesday night are: 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and Powerball of 6.
