HAMILTON, Ind. (WOWO): An early morning crash in Steuben County has left two injured.

A passenger in the vehicle, 64-year-old Howard Beekman of Coldwater, Michigan was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital with undisclosed injures. The driver, 51-year-old Michael Hephner of Angola was hospitalized in Angola.

The crash happened just after 9 a.m. Tuesday morning on County Road 00 N near County Road 51. That's about 2 miles west of Hamilton.

According to investigators, Hephner's Freightline box truck left the roadway, continued into a ditch and struck two trees.
