FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating a shooting on the 1300 block of Baxter St.

It happened just before 7:30 Sunday evening.

Initial reports indicate that two people were walking down the street when a black SUV pulled up behind them and began shooting. The car then drove away.

The two people were taken to a local hospital. Police say they were in serious, but stable condition.
