Two students suspended after threats against Jay County High School

PORTLAND, Ind. (WOWO): A threat against Jay County High School, posted on social media earlier this week, has led to the suspension of two students.

Officials with Jay County Schools tell our Partners in News at ABC 21 they became aware of the unspecified threat Wednesday night and worked with law enforcement to make sure school could be conducted safely yesterday.

They have since tracked down two high school students, who confessed to posting the anonymous threats, saying they were just joking.

They’re now facing an expulsion hearing.
