Uncle and Nephew Arrested For Burglaries in Kosciusko County

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Detectives arrested two relatives from Warsaw who are allegedly responsible for several burglaries in the Palestine and Pierceton areas.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department has received numerous burglary reports within the last month and decided to coordinate their patrols at specific times and locations.

Shortly after midnight on June 15th, officers received a tip on a burglary inside a barn south of Pierceton along County Road 400 South.

Once there, police arrested 20-year-old Thadius Kuta and his uncle, 38-year-old Jonathan Kuta.

Police determined the Kutas had been responsible for a number of burglaries and stole an assortment of items, including a handgun.

Both men were charged with felony burglary. A majority of the victims were contacted about the recovered items the uncle and nephew had taken during the burglaries.
