FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – The Allen County SPCA has met their funding goal to cover the cost for two water heaters.

In a Facebook post Monday afternoon, the organization stated it only took three hours to raise enough money.

This comes after their previous post asking for donations after both water heaters broke due to cold temperatures.

Previous story below.

The Allen County SPCA is in need of help after the cold temperatures caused both of their hot water heaters to break.

The organization shared a Facebook post Monday afternoon, stating they have “very limited means to sanitize and care for the animals.”

The SPCA is asking for donations of $5 or more, which can help get the critters out of the cold.

This comes just after the organization reported it was at-capacity with animals in need of homes, according to our partners in news at ABC 21.

You can help out by donating online or in-person at the shelter, located at 4914 Hanna Street.
