UPDATE: First Source Bank Robbed off Illinois Road

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne bank was robbed this morning before business hours.

Around 6:45, armed suspects entered the First Source Bank near Illinois Road and Carnegie Drive

Nearby schools were placed on precautionary lock-down for a short time.

Authorities say armed suspects demanded money from a bank employee. Investigators are processing clues and reviewing surveillance footage from the bank and nearby businesses.

If you were in that area between 6 and 7 am, police would like to talk to piece together leads.  Several law enforcement agencies are assisting, including the FBI.  Police have not released suspect information, yet.
