DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO):  The driver of moped struck Friday morning in DeKalb County has died.

Authorities say 43-year old Scott Albright of Auburn was fatally injured after a pickup truck collided with his moped  near Old State Road 3 and Lima Road south of LaOtto. According the Indiana State Police, Albright was not wearing a helmet.

Around 6:45 this morning, police responded to a personal injury accident on Old State Road 3 at Lima in DeKalb County. According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, someone on a scooter was hit by a pickup truck and taken to the hospital in critical condition. The pickup truck driver was uninjured. Officials are working to determine if the scooter driver was wearing a helmet. We'll have more details as they become available.
