UPDATE: Trooper and Plymouth Officer Open Fire on Suspect

PLYMOUTH, Ind. (WOWO): Authorities are investigating a shooting involving one state trooper and a plymouth police officer.

The two officers approached suspect, 33-year-old Lane Dodson, who was wanted for questioning in a domestic abuse case.

According to a press release, 33-year-old Lane Dodson was in a van and possibly armed in the parking lot of a K-Mart. When asked to get out of the vehicle, Dodson showed a gun and both officers open fired. He was transported to a South Bend hospital. The officers are okay, but their names have not yet been released.
