NOBLE COUNTY, Ind (WOWO): INDOT announces asphalt resurfacing work on US 33 in Noble County is underway.  The limits of the project are approximately ½ mile north of SR 109 to US 6.

Crews are currently preparing US 33 for asphalt resurfacing work.  The prep work is expected to be complete by Friday, April 26, weather permitting. 

Then at the beginning of May, the asphalt resurfacing is scheduled to begin on US 33, including milling the surface and laying asphalt.  Throughout the day, traffic will be allowed under the direction of flaggers.

Drivers should be aware of merging construction traffic and shoulder work. Along with that, restrictions are expected to lift each night.  

The entire project is scheduled to be complete in early August.
