ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The victim from a Monday night crash in Allen County has been identified as 52-year-old David Hitzfield of Fort Wayne.
He was the passenger in a vehicle that went off the roadway, rolled over and pinned him inside. It happened around 10:00 p.m. Monday night on Neahlongquah near Aboite and Ernst roads.
An autopsy revealed his cause of death as blunt force trauma.
Hitzfield is the 26th traffic fatality in Fort Wayne and Allen County this year. In the meantime, the crash is still under investigation.
