LAKE STATION, Ind. (AP) _ State police say westbound traffic on the Indiana Toll Road has come to a halt in northwestern Indiana.
 
Troopers say a collision between two trucks and a resulting fire have closed the westbound lanes near mile marker 21 in eastern Lake County.
 
Westbound traffic is being diverted at mile marker 23, the Willow Creek Road exit, and detoured to Interstate 94.
 
Police are urging motorists to avoid the area if possible.
