Waynedale Couple Thwart Home Invasion

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A husband and wife stop a would-be home invasion Sunday night on Hickory Creek in Waynedale.

According to the Journal-Gazette, three men entered the home reportedly to settle a debt the couple’s son owed.

The wife grabbed a toy guitar and whacked one of the men. Two others were in a stairway, where the husband pushed one of them backwards.

Undeterred one of the suspects made his way back up the stairs where the husband kicked him to the chest. That’s when the three would-be burglars ran out of the home and took off in a gray or silver car.
