INDIANA, (WOWO):  The National Weather Service extends the Winter Weather advisory for northern Indiana until 6:00 p.m., Thursday evening. Along with that, the National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for Allen County from 10:00 p.m., this evening until 11:00 a.m., Friday morning.

Light snow and areas of blowing snow are expected to continue this afternoon with heavy lake effect snow possible in far northwest Indiana and southwest lower Michigan tonight.

The wind chill conditions are expected to drop to 15 below from late this evening through Friday morning across far northeast Indiana, south central lower Michigan, and northwest Ohio.
