NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. (WOWO): A woman is in custody after a North Manchester shooting killed one man and injured a woman Thursday night.
Our partners in news at ABC 21 say 32-year old Tiffany Renae Chapman-Lane of South Whitley turned herself into the North Manchester Police Department within an hour of the shooting.
Police say the shots were fired just after 8:30 p.m. at a home at 619 East 5th Street in North Manchester.
36-year old Jacob Chapman died in the shooting, while his wife, 37-year old Sara Chapman, was taken to Parkview Hospital with a gunshot wound. She was later released from the hospital.
Police say that Chapman-Lane is Jacob’s ex-wife.
Officials are still investigating.
