Woman Extracted From Wrecked Van in Steuben County

ORLAND, Ind. (WOWO): Rescue crews in Steuben County had to rescue a woman from a wrecked van.

The accident happened southeast of Orland Sunday night just after 10 PM on County Road 350N west of County Road 800W. 

A van left the roadway and struck a tree. 

31 year old Rachel Reed of Howe was trapped inside. Rescue crews were able to pull Reed from the vehicle. She had to be flown to a Fort Wayne hospital, where her condition is unknown. It's also unknown why her vehicle ended up hitting a tree.
