Just before 7 last night, crews responded to the Budgeteer Motor Inn on N SR 127 in Steuben County after reports that a car struck the building causing extensive damage. The driver, Patricia Racine, was uncooperative with officers and couldn’t explain how the crash happened. Police say it looks like Racine hit the building while trying to park. After a breath test, she was arrested and put in the Steuben County jail for operating while intoxicated.
