Women Arrested for Robbing Terminally Ill Man in Anderson

ANDERSON, Ind. (WOWO): Two women were arrested for attacking and robbing the home of a terminally ill man.

According to our partners in news at 21Alive, 45-year-old Laurie Trent and 43-year-old Laura Beaty are facing multiple felony charges after attacking 53-year-old James Marshall and stealing his cell phone, $70-$80 in cash, and over 100 prescription pills.

Marshall says Trent is his former girlfriend.

He asked her to bring him rolling papers, but wasn't expecting another person to enter his home. After an altercation between the two, Beaty held a knife to Marshall's throat.

Despite his terminal illness and a broken leg, Marshall was able to get away.
