2 Killed Inside Car in Indianapolis Neighborhood

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Police say a man and woman were shot dead as they sat inside a parked car in an Indianapolis neighborhood.

The shooting happened Wednesday night, with Lt. Christopher Bailey saying the two people in their 20s were pronounced dead at the scene northwest of the city's downtown.

Investigators found more than a dozen shell casing along the street. Bailey says it appeared the shots began from across the street and moved toward the car that was parked in the residential neighborhood.

Bailey says detectives didn't immediately have any witnesses or suspects in the shooting.
