FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An Angola man was arrested Friday after police say he failed to register as a sex or violent offender.

Mitchwell W. Hephner, 25, was convicted in June 2011 of sexual misconduct with a minor, which was a class C felony.
Hephner was wanted for not registering as a sex offender in LaGrange County and could face similar charges in Steuben County, according to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department.

Steuben County Sheriff’s detectives located Hephner in the 400 block of West Maumee Street in Angola around 9 a.m.
