Fort Wayne firefighters battle Hoagland Ave. blaze

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): At 7:30 Sunday morning, Fort Wayne fire crews responded to a house fire at a residence on Hoagland Avenue. Once on the scene, firefighters found smoke coming from the front door of the two story home. Fire was located in the basement and extinguished in about 10 minutes.

Two residents were at the home at the time of the blaze, but were able to escape without injury. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
