51 Hoosiers schools to participate in International Walk to School Day

INDIANA, (WOWO) – Students across the nation will observe International Walk to School Day Wednesday, Oct. 10, by biking or walking to school.

Walk to School Day is an international event that unites students across forty different countries on the same day by celebrating and encouraging safe routes to school.

There are currently 51 Hoosier schools registered to participate in this year’s Walk to School Day, including schools in Elkhart, Noble and Marion counties.
