FWPD to increase patrols at Promenade Park

(Heather Starr/WOWO News)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NETWORK INDIANA) — Hoosiers can expect more Fort Wayne police patrols around Promenade Park following multiple calls about kids causing trouble by shooting airsoft, paintball, and toy guns on Saturday evening.

This isn’t the first time FWPD has increased patrols due to this issue; they faced similar problems last year.

According to FWPD Detective Marc Deshaies, this behavior isn’t just annoying; it’s against the law.
