Applications Now Open For 2025 Neighborhood Improvement Grant Program

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – The City of Fort Wayne’s Community Development Division has opened applications for the 2025 Neighborhood Improvement Grant program.

Now in its eighth year, the program helps neighborhoods improve public spaces and foster community pride.

Neighborhood leaders must engage residents to identify improvement ideas, with projects focusing on beautification and strengthening neighborhood identity.

Past projects have included community gardens, park upgrades, benches, public art, and signage.

Grants can provide up to $5,000 per neighborhood association registered with the City.

Routine maintenance, social events, and operating costs are not eligible.

Applications will be scored based on specific criteria and available funding.

The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Monday, March 24th, 2025.
