A local university is renovating its performing arts center to create a venue for large-scale events. Trine University in Angola says the $6 million renovation of the T. Furth Center is expected to be completed in December. The 750-seat concert hall will feature gold detailing, marble statuary, paintings, chandeliers and balconies.
