ELKHART, Ind. (WOWO) — Elkhart Police say residents have contacted them specifically, about online scams through Facebook where the property is not actually for rent and the poster does not own the property.
They say if you’re seeking a house rental or apartment rental online, to do your own independent research on what you’re attempting to rent before paying money or revealing your personal information to anyone.
