Police Investigate Gas Station Shooting in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police are investigating a shooting that happened Thursday night at a Phillips 66 gas station in Fort Wayne.

Shots were fired around 7:30 p.m. on the 4200 block of S. Anthony Boulevard near McKinnie Avenue.

Once police arrived, they noticed multiple bullet holes in a vehicle that was still running at a gas pump. A victim with multiple gunshot wounds went into the gas station and told an officer he didn't know who shot at him.

When asked about details surrounding the shooting, the victim's wife told police there was “a situation” about two weeks ago involving one of their friends. The victim is also the father of another woman's child, creating a lot of “drama” in the couple's lives.

The case is still under investigation. The victim was last listed in serious condition.
