MARION COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an ATV accident that occurred Saturday afternoon in southern Marion County. 

Around 1:00 PM, officers responded to a call of an accident with injury on Wicker Road in Indianapolis. Once on scene, they found Matthew Barmes, 22, of Greenwood in a wooded area on the property. It appeared that Barmes rolled the four-wheeler, causing injuries to his back, shoulder and ribs. He was able to yell for help to family members that were working on the property nearby. Barmes was not wearing any protective gear at the time of the accident and appears to have had limited operating experience. 

Barmes was transported to a local hospital where he is in stable condition.
