FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened this afternoon at the Wells Fargo branch at 901 W. State.

The FWPD says a male white, standing about 5'11'' with a goatee beard, entered the bank shortly before 1:30pm, handed the teller a note demanding money, and escaped before police arrived. Police say while he's not apparently the same person who pulled off a similar robbery at Fifth Third Bank a day prior, the method used was very similar.
