Fort Wayne Parks Department will place offers on buildings

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department is planning on expanding a few city park.

On Thursday, the Board of Park Commissioners authorized offers to the owners of three buildings, according to the Journal Gazette.

The department is offering $818,000 for the Ream-Steckbeck Paint Co. building at 200 W. Superior St. and an adjacent building with the same owner.

The other building the department hopes to inquire is the Cambray and Associates building at 312 S. Harrison St. for $447,500.

This is part of the ongoing riverfront development project in downtown Fort Wayne.
